21 Jan Walker Trent Promoted to Associate Principal
SDG is excited to announce that Walker Trent has been promoted to Associate Principal in January, 2026!
Walker began working for SDG in 2018 following his graduation from the University of Tennessee. He graduated cum laude from UTK in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and earned his Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering in 2018. Walker holds a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license. He is responsible for all phases of project design and management for a wide variety of projects at SDG, with significant experience in the design of structural systems for commercial, hospitality, and healthcare project types across the country.
Walker is a member of the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), the Structural Engineers Association of Tennessee (TNSEA), and is an Associate Member of the American Concrete Institute (ACI), serving on various committees including “Design of Reinforced Concrete Slabs” and “Prestressed Concrete.”
