Walker began working for SDG in 2018 following his graduation from the University of Tennessee and was promoted to Associate Principal in 2026. He is responsible for all phases of project design and management for a wide variety of projects at SDG. He has significant experience in the design of structural systems for commercial, hospitality, healthcare, and a wide range of other project types. His experience includes reinforced concrete, post-tensioned concrete, structural steel, masonry, and wood. Walker holds a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Tennessee.
Walker is a member of the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), the Structural Engineers Association of Tennessee (TNSEA), and the American Concrete Institute (ACI). He serves as an Associate Member on various ACI committees including “Design of Reinforced Concrete Slabs” and “Prestressed Concrete.”
