10 Feb $53.6 million Expansion at HCA’s TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center
SDG is working on the $53.6 million expansion at TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center. HCA plans the expansion to increase capacity in multiple departments and add 30,000 square feet and 24 medical or surgical inpatient beds on the hospital’s third floor.
From the Nashville Business Journal, Feb 4, 2025, “We are excited to begin this major expansion project that will allow us to care for more patients as Sumner County and our surrounding communities continue to grow,” said Justin Coury, CEO of the hospital, in the release. “We are proud to offer nationally recognized quality care to our patients, and this expansion will ensure we are prepared to care for our community in the future.”
The hospital is one of two in HCA’s network that are being used as innovation hub hospitals. The hospital system’s Department of Digital Transformation and Innovation takes technology to these hospitals to be tested and hospital staff gives feedback on what is and isn’t working.
