2012 Design/build project of new Warrior in Transition (WT) Barracks comprised of a 3-story, 134,680-gross square foot barracks consisting of 56, 2-bedroom, 1-bath units and 56, 2-bedroom, 2-bath units.  This WT barracks facility is a new cold-formed steel, loadbearing building. 2012 This WT barracks facility is a new 4-story, cold-formed steel, loadbearing building.  The apartment areas were constructed using panelized wall techniques, while the common and service areas were framed using traditional stick methods.  The facility has 5 stair towers and 3 elevators.  The roof is framed with pre-engineered, cold-formed steel trusses topped with asphalt shingles.
